DAY WISE ITINERARY DETAILS
Day 1 : Start from Delhi to Nainital
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted and assisted with your transfer to Nainital, a picturesque hill station nestled in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. The drive offers scenic views of the Shivalik ranges, dense forests, and charming countryside. Upon reaching Nainital, check into your hotel and take some time to relax and freshen up. End your day with a delicious dinner at the hotel, soaking in the cool mountain air and peaceful ambiance. Nainital, also known as the “Lake District of India,” is famous for its emerald-green lakes, lush valleys, and panoramic views of the Himalayas. The iconic Naini Lake is the heart of the town, surrounded by quaint colonial-era cottages and bustling bazaars. Popular attractions include Snow View Point, Tiffin Top, Naina Devi Temple, and Eco Cave Gardens. For nature enthusiasts, nearby destinations like Bhimtal, Sattal, and Naukuchiatal offer picturesque spots for boating and picnics, making Nainital a delightful retreat for travelers seeking tranquility and natural beauty.

Day 2: Nainital to Dharchula

Day 3 : Dharchula to Gunji / Nabhi Dhang Village
Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, then check out and prepare for the journey ahead. Due to the challenging road conditions from Dharchula, switch to a local vehicle for the next leg of your trip. En route, immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes of the Kumaon Hills and enjoy breathtaking views of the Kali River, which forms a natural border between India and Nepal.Upon reaching Gunji or Nabhi Dhang Village, check in to your hotel or homestay. Take the evening to relax and acclimatize to the high-altitude environment, or enjoy a gentle walk around the serene surroundings. End your day with a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay in the hotel or homestay.

Gunji Village

Distance: 80 Kms / 3 Hours Drive (Max. Elevation: 3200 meters)
Important Note: Documents will be checked at various check posts. At Gunji / Nabhi Dhang village stay will be basic guest house / homestay. Due to limited number of stay options booking will be done bed wise instead of rooms. Depending on room type 6-8 bedroom will be given on dormitory sharing basis.

Day 4 : Gunji / Nabhi Dhang Village to Adi Kailash Visit & Return
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast and embark on a scenic drive towards Jolingkong. Upon arrival, you can either hire a horse or trek on foot to reach the sacred Adi Kailash Temple, approximately 3 km from Jolingkong. The trek is relatively easy and rewards you with breathtaking views of the majestic Adi
Kailash Mountain. Behind the temple, marvel at the serene Parwati Sarovar, a tranquil lake surrounded by the grandeur of the Himalayas.After soaking in the divine beauty, return to Jolingkong and enjoy a simple yet delicious lunch at a local dhaba, featuring a traditional thali with dal, mixed vegetables, roti,
and rice. Post-lunch, embark on a short trek or horse ride to Gauri Kund, a pristine lake located just below the Adi Kailash Temple, offering a serene and spiritual experience. Later, descend from the trek and drive back to Gunji or Nabhi Dhang Village. Conclude your day with a hearty dinner and a restful
overnight stay at the village.
